If you believe you have what it takes to be one of us contact us for an application to the Squad. We are always looking for members to add to the Squad. To be member of the Region 3 Rescue Squad you must:

  1. Be 18 years old
  2. Have an internet connection with email
  3. Have a cell phone capable of text messaging
  4. Be willing to put forth the dedication, time and money needed.
  5. You must live in the state of Indiana or Kentucky and be willing to drive to the training sites

We are especially looking for persons with training in Medical, Military Service, Law Enforcement, and Fire or emergency service background. We do need Photographers, Chaplains, EMT's, Paramedics, Physician's, First Responders, Fire Fighters, Law Enforcement / Security Officers, IT specialists, Volunteers' drivers, K-9's and  handlers, Divers, Bike Riders, and very motivated persons.

Process for applying to the Squad:
  1. First you contact us by link on this site and request an application. You fill it out and email it back to us. We then review the application and either accept or decline the application. You will be notified of the outcome by email.
  2. If you application is accepted you will be sent a a notice to appear for an interview. The outcome of which will be emailed to you.
  3. If you Oral interview is acceptable then you will be notified of a time and date of you probationary Orientation. The purpose of this Orientation is to explain what you responsibilities will be in the Squad as well as your Requirement's. THIS IS YOUR LAST OPPERTUNITY TO DROP ON REQUEST. If you choose to accept the responsibilities and requirements you will be sworn in and assigned unit number as well as issued equipment. Your sifigniat other is encourged to come with you.
  4. If you are sworn in you will be placed on Probationary status for up to one year.
*At any time should you not pass any stage you will be notified promptly by email.
